Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in San Luis Obispo, CA as an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. You will operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used to diagnose medical conditions, administer contrast when indicated, and perform a variety of imaging procedures including bone densitometry, general radiography, and fluoroscopy. You will work independently with minimal supervision and support patient care in an outpatient hospital setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or equivalent) required.
• Active state Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in CA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required.
• Ability to perform venipuncture; venipuncture certification preferred in CA.
• Experience operating Philips CT equipment and ability to run CT studies with minimal training.
• Comfortable working independently and functioning as a self-starter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Advanced certification in CT preferred.
• Fluoroscopy license for California if operating fluoroscopy equipment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:00 to 16:00.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 x 8s.
• No call requirement.
