Surgical Services – Sterile Processing Tech

Schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday and occasional scheduled Holidays.

Assignment Details: Full-time position with flexible responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Experience in decontamination of surgical instruments.
• Knowledge of sterilization process (Sterrad and steam).
• Experience with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scopes.
• Familiarity with sterile storage practices.
• Experience as an OR liaison.
• Proficient in using Censitrac Tracking system.
• Certification as CBSPD or CRCST required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage decontamination of all items including drills, scopes, and surgical instruments.
• Oversee the sterilization process for various surgical tools.
• Ensure proper sterile storage of instruments.
• Take OR calls and coordinate across multiple surgical floors.
• Prepare and fill case carts for upcoming surgical procedures.
