Quick Facts: Location: 1465 South Grand Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63104 Start Date: 10/19/2026 End Date: 04/19/2027 Shift: Day shift, 4x8-hour (08:00 - 17:00) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Contract with potential for permanent placement Licensure/Certifications: MO and IL licenses preferred, BC in Genetics required, BLS, DEA, BNDD Experience: 2-5 years minimum in genetics, metabolic disorders, outpatient/inpatient Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $156.00 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Conduct general genetics evaluations and manage biochemical/metabolic disorders Provide inpatient consultations in PICU, NICU, and pediatric units Collaborate with genetic counselors and multidisciplinary teams Support outpatient clinics and telehealth services in MO and IL Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system Support the hospital’s pediatric specialty programs and trauma services Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and diagnostics What You Need: Board Certification in Medical Genetics (required) Licenses in Missouri and Illinois (preferred, or willing to license) BLS certification 2-5 years of relevant experience in pediatric genetics and metabolic disorders Strong diagnostic and collaborative skills Experience with outpatient and inpatient pediatric care About the Assignment: Join a top-ranked, modern pediatric hospital in St. Louis, MO, known for its Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Level IV NICU, and extensive subspecialty programs.
