Maintenance Technician – Peru, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining industrial processing equipment and strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain and repair production machinery, facility systems, and related equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, relocations, and upgrades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform inspections, calibrations, and equipment adjustments to maintain production standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and GMP requirements.

Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely around machinery and perform physical job requirements.
