Senior Technical Project ManagerLocation: Augusta, MESalary: $116,600 - $145,800Schedule: On Site - OfficeThe Senior Technical Project Manager works within the Projects and Processes Control Center organization, which is responsible for executing critical Operational Technology (OT) systems and infrastructure projects (e.g., near real-time operating control systems, next-generation AMI, data center construction and relocations, substation automation, line sensors) to help enable grid modernization across Avangrid. This position is responsible for managing these complex projects, and requires close collaboration with peers across Connecticut, Maine, and New York and other groups, particularly Electric and Gas Operations, IT, and Operational Smart Grids (e.g., Control Systems & Automation, Smart Metering, Infrastructure & Compliance, and Telecommunications).Key ResponsibilitiesLeads the execution of complex projects end-to-end from development through deployment and close-out including transition to operationsResponsible for leading cross-functional teams on the development of project scope, technical requirements, various plans (e.g., project, testing, training, transition, resource), and project close-out documentation including lessons learnedResponsible for measuring and tracking project plans' progression, risks, and milestonesResponsible for project financials, including developing budgets, managing budget variances, forecasting budgets, and developing benefit-cost analysesEvaluates and adheres to regulatory and compliance reporting requirementsManages vendor engagements and contract negotiationsMakes recommendations to business areas then implements solutions to promote efficiencies and innovationEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience preferredControl Systems experience preferredExperience leading technical cross-functional teams requiredExperience navigating procurement processes, including the development of RFPs and contract requirements, requiredExperience with budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and payment and accrual processes requiredExperience working in IT / OT (e.g., telecommunications, network or systems engineering, applications support) project management and/or operations, requiredDemonstrated track record of driving decision-making, learning new technologies and systems, and building cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders requiredExperience using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Smartsheet) requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP requiredExperience working in electric and/or gas utilities strongly preferredExperience with Change Management and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards and processes preferredRelated certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) preferredWhat We Offer:Competitive benefits and growth opportunitiesGenerous performance?based bonuses12% 401(k) matchComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceTuition reimbursementProfessional development and clear career?advancement pathwaysCompany: CENTRAL MAINE POWER CO
