Must-Have: Ability to use Philips ultrasound systems, Previous charge experience, Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic, Community hospital experience required

Description: 1ST TIMERS - Ultrasound Tech - Required knowledge includes 1:1 patient ratios. Weekend shifts required, specifically Fri to Sun, following a regular day shift schedule. Float between units is not required. On-call duty is not a requirement. The department is staffed 24/7 to cover outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room case loads. There is a high volume of breast work, which includes biopsies and other special procedures. Candidates should be flexible to cover various patient age groups, including adults and geriatrics. A preferred certification in breast imaging is desirable but training and education support can be provided. Special procedures include para, thoracentesis, and fine needle aspiration. Travelers will be expected to float between nearby facilities as necessary. A vehicle is required for travel assignments. Commitment to work on three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) is required. Two references covering one year of experience within the last three years are required prior to the start. All requests for specific scheduling or time-off must be made upfront.
