Daytime Site Lead/Porter

Columbus Grove, Ohio

Monday through Friday | Day Shift

Clean Team Inc. is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Daytime Site Lead/Portewr to oversee daily cleaning operations at a large facility in Columbus Grove area. This is a working leadership position responsible fo overseeing daytime cleanliness while actively participating in daily custodial and janitorial duties.

The ideal candidate will have prior commercial cleaning, custodial, janitorial, or facility maintenance experience and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This role serves as the primary on-site contact during evening operations and plays a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting team success.

• Oversee daytime cleaning

• Perform general cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility

• Assign work areas and monitor daily task completion

• Conduct quality inspections and facility walk-throughs

• Ensure cleaning standards are consistently met or exceeded

• Assist with training and onboarding new team members

• Maintain inventory of cleaning products, supplies, and equipment

• Communicate effectively with school personnel and Clean Team management

• Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company procedures

• Address operational concerns and help resolve issues as they arise

• Previous janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or facility maintenance experience required

• Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

• Ability to lift, bend, walk, reach, and stand for extended periods

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

• Must be eligible to pass a background check
