As Lead CAE Engineer, you'll own the following: Lead and manage COE simulation driven design and R&D activitiesDevelop and implement a simulation technology roadmap to close capability gaps and enable product innovation.Lead implementation of modal based systems engineering, digital twins, and predictive maintenance strategies.Support new product development team with DFMEA validation through Multiphysics simulationsIntegrate upfront simulation driven design space exploration process into the product development cycleDeliver custom simulation training, create performance plans and mentoring programs for the engineering teamCreate guided analysis workflows, templates, and simulation apps to the design teamImplement simulation governance protocols, quality measure & checks to ensure simulation accuracyLead validation and correlation of the analytical models with test & field dataLead and manage the implementation of the high-performance computing/hardware infrastructure and resources for faster and accurate simulations.Act as material subject matter expert across the companyMaintain a customized material database for the engineering teamUse advanced simulation to reduce product cost and product complexitiesCommunicate technical information (data, designs and updates) to a non-technical audienceLocation: This position is eligible for hybrid schedule working out of our North Olmsted, OH or Maumee, OH offices with remote days on Mondays and Fridays. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering is requiredA minimum of 8 years of experience in CAE simulation & technology implementationFluent in the use of 3-D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and PC’sHands-on experience with ANSYS MechanicalExperience integrating simulation with test correlation, design optimization, and manufacturing considerations.Track record of driving simulation-led design decisions at the system and component levels.Key Leadership Attributes:Strategic, systems-level thinker with strong technical judgment.Influential leader who builds trust across organizations.Passionate about developing people and advancing engineering capability.Written and verbal communication skills for dealing with multiple levels of staff, customers and suppliersProficiency in Spanish and/or Mandarin are beneficial but optionalAdditional InformationCOMPANY DESCRIPTION:Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is an industry-leading home, security and digital products company. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $165,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
