Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and formulate tailored treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs and circumstances.

• Provide bilingual (Spanish and English) psychotherapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities including CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate records using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting techniques to fit clients’ diverse backgrounds and challenges.

• Stay abreast of current developments in the field of therapy and mental health through continuous education and professional training.
\n
• Engage effectively with clients from various cultural backgrounds, fostering an atmosphere of respect and acceptance.

• Participate in regular supervision and feedback sessions with peers and supervisors to enhance clinical skills and therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work closely with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing significant life challenges and mental health issues. Our clients often face various struggles such as trauma, grief, and perinatal mental health concerns. By providing services in a culturally competent manner, the LMFT will help clients develop coping strategies, improve interpersonal relationships, and foster emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in Texas.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting with a focus on working with children, adults, and families.

• A sensitivity to cultural and individual family dynamics and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Familiarity with digital tools, including Microsoft Office and EHR software, for effective therapy management.
\n
• A valid Driver’s License and car insurance for occasional in-person sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training in trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic techniques such as trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).

• Experience in providing psychological services as an in-network provider on insurance panels.

• A developed area of specialization such as LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.
