About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing organization, is seeking a LIHTC Senior Project Manager to support affordable housing development initiatives through financial analysis, project coordination, funding applications, and development planning. This position will play a key role in supporting a growing development pipeline and collaborating with project teams, consultants, lenders, and public agencies.
Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will focus on affordable housing finance, development support, underwriting, funding applications, and financial analysis. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in affordable housing, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, public financing programs, and development project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financing and development activities for affordable housing projects.
- Prepare and coordinate LIHTC applications and public funding submissions.
- Develop and maintain project pro formas, budgets, and financial models.
- Assist with capital stack analysis and financing strategies.
- Coordinate with lenders, investors, consultants, and public agencies.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and funding requirements.
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Support compliance with lender and funding agency requirements.
- Assist in standardizing financial models and development processes.
- Collaborate with development, accounting, construction, and leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in affordable housing development, real estate finance, or project management.
- Experience with LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, public funding programs, or affordable housing finance.
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience supporting affordable housing developments through multiple phases of the development cycle.
- Experience preparing financing applications and development budgets.
- Familiarity with public agencies, housing authorities, and affordable housing funding sources.
