Healthcare Talent Sourcer
Location: New York, NY 10017
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Healthcare Talent Sourcer to support recruiters in identifying, attracting, and pre-screening qualified candidates for open healthcare positions.
The ideal candidate will have experience sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill, niche, and high-volume roles and be comfortable using LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean searches, social media, ATS/database systems, networking, and other sourcing strategies to build strong talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Source qualified candidates for assigned healthcare job openings.
- Utilize LinkedIn, Boolean searches, job boards, social media, ATS platforms, and candidate databases to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct preliminary candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, interest, availability, and overall job fit.
- Present qualified candidates to Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers.
- Build and maintain talent pools of both active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and update candidate status within the ATS/database.
- Participate in job fairs, open houses, networking events, and other recruitment activities.
- Support Recruiters with onboarding activities and other recruitment-related tasks.
- Maintain organized candidate records and ensure timely follow-up throughout the sourcing process.
- Perform other recruitment and talent acquisition duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred/required based on position requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in HR, recruiting, staffing, talent sourcing, or a related field.
- Experience working with ATS and/or candidate database systems.
- Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and online recruiting platforms.
- Strong networking and candidate engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
