Business Development Representative

People Architects is partnering with a growing B2B services company to hire a Business Development Representative who will help create new business opportunities by opening doors with HR and business leaders. Responsibilities

• Proactively make outbound calls to HR leaders and business decision-makers to introduce the company's services.
• Build relationships and generate interest through professional, engaging conversations.
• Qualify prospective clients and schedule meetings for the leadership team.
• Manage a targeted prospect list while maintaining accurate records in the CRM.
• Follow up consistently with prospects through phone, email, and other outreach methods.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging and identify new business opportunities.
• Continuously learn and improve your sales, communication, and prospecting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 03 years of experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, hospitality, retail, fundraising, business development, or another customer-facing role.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations with new people.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude with the resilience to handle rejection and remain motivated.
• Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Coachable, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally.
• Experience using CRM systems or sales technology is a plus but not required.

The role is full-time and based in the Cleveland office five days per week. Compensation includes a $45,000.00 - 50,000 base salary with the ability to earn uncapped commission.
