Information Security Engineer 4 - Contingent

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Information Security Engineer - Encryption & CipherTrust SME.

Position type: Contract (12 months w/ extension)
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Chandler, AZ/ Columbus, OH
Hybrid (3 days onsite/ 2 day remote)


As an Information Security Engineer - Encryption & CipherTrust SME, you will:


Day to Day Responsibilities

• Administer and support Thales CipherTrust Key Manager and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE).
• Lead infrastructure and firmware upgrade projects, including testing, implementation, and change/incident management.
• Provide technical mentorship, create standards/documentation, and guide best practices for junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex encryption and OS-level issues across Linux and Windows environments.
• Harden and tune operating systems to optimize CipherTrust agent performance.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows using Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and other tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Information Security Engineering experience.
• Experience with Thales CipherTrust Key Manager and CipherTrust Transparent Encryption.
• OS-level administration experience (Linux, Unix, Windows) including troubleshooting, hardening, and tuning.
• Experience with scripting/automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience with HSMs or security appliance devices.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $68 - $72 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
