Job Title: Accountant - Car Dealership Experience Required
Location: Fairhope, AL
Pay Range: $18-$25 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in car dealership accounting and be proficient in QuickBooks . This role involves managing financial records, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and supporting the dealership's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Process accounts payable and receivable
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
Manage payroll and employee expense reimbursements
Ensure compliance with dealership accounting standards and procedures
Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks
Collaborate with sales and service departments to ensure accurate financial tracking

Qualifications:

Proven experience in car dealership accounting (minimum 3 years preferred)
Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
