Overview
PROGRAM MANAGER (BGEM):
Bowhead seeks a Program Manager for an upcoming Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Ensures that all required resources such as engineering, manpower, production, computer time, facilities and the like are available for the program.
Plans, directs and monitors program budget and serves as primary customer contact for program information.
May be responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.
May be responsible for programs of a lesser dollar value if they are more complex or developmental in nature.
Program complexity is the primary criteria for leveling, and dollar value of programs is secondary.

Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering scientific, business, or technical discipline.
PMP certification required.
Fifteen (15) years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition; or Fifteen (15) years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition
Five (5) years of Supervisory experience; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel
Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Naval Science and Technology (S&T) Strategies and Future Naval Capabilities (FNC) programs; Foreign Military Sales highly desired
Must be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Targeted salary range is 140,000/annually to 180,000/annually based on qualifications and experience.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged period amounts of time.
Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract.
