Since 1946 we have delivered innovative solutions to the world's most demanding customers and industries including aerospace, defense, semiconductor, oil and energy.The Supply Chain Manager manages key supply chain functions such as materials planning, scheduling, and ordering, material purchasing, inventory control and warehousing by performing the following duties.Essential FunctionsManages and directs supply chain staff to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders while maintaining assigned inventory levels.Trains and educates staff on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other related tools to ensure timely and economical completion of customer requirements.Analyzes existing procedures and opportunities for streamlining activities to meet manufacturing needs.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
