Summary -
- Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, and the Senior Maintenance
Supervisor the Foundry Maintenance Supervisor directs maintenance personnel in the foundry. - Assumes the duties of Senior Maintenance Supervisor in his absence.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Reviews work orders and ensures that work schedules are met.
- Organizes and assigns work.
- Supervises skilled and semi-skilled employees performing major repairs and preventive
maintenance to buildings and equipment and grounds. - Anticipates maintenance and personnel problems and resolves problems to minimize
their effects on production. - Makes sure safety issues are addressed and solved.
- Responsible for spare parts inventory.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervisory Responsibilities -
- The Foundry Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of all maintenance personnel in the foundry.
