Public Works Intern Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Public Works team in our Austin - South, TX office. The Civil Engineering Intern will help with Public Works and Transportation projects. What you will do: Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Public Works and Transportation projects Perform drafting CAD work Perform calculations and analysis for design projects Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies What you will need: Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree Great communication skills Solid relationship and team building skills Self-motivated and strong organization skills The Halff Public Works Advantage Diverse and interdisciplinary teams can manage projects from inception through completion.
