Overview
We are seeking a hands-on FIN (Fix it Now) Supervisor to lead a skilled team of mechanics, electricians, and I&C technicians in a plant environment. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on keeping operations running in real time, addressing emergent maintenance needs, and supporting the shop floor directly.
This is not a desk role—we are looking for a leader who will be present in the plant, remove barriers for their team, and ensure work gets done safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 7–9 direct reports (mechanics, electricians, and I&C technicians)
- Drive daily maintenance operations, including:
- Reviewing condition reports and addressing urgent issues at start of shift
- Leading morning meetings (6:00 AM team alignment, shop kickoffs, plant-wide coordination)
- Assigning work based on priorities, parts availability, and operational needs
- Respond to emergent maintenance issues, ensuring immediate action and resolution
- Maintain workflow by coordinating backlog and shop work when resources or parts are delayed
- Provide coverage for site leadership when needed and contribute to succession readiness
- Work weeks will average about 60 hours/week (6am-6pm Mon-Fri)
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience directing teams in a plant or industrial environment
- Hands-on background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
