Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate assigned patients, develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs and goals as well as physician direction. This role is essential for delivering superior quality care in a team-oriented environment, while ensuring patient safety and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to formulate appropriate treatment plans focused on progression towards discharge.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical record documentation, ensuring compliance with state, federal guidelines, and clinic policies.
• Supervise and provide positive learning environments for students as part of the assigned student program.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study to enhance skills and competencies.
• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing, fulfilling all state-mandated continuing education requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Schedule

This position offers a 5x8.0 schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
