State Tested Nurse Aide - STNA - Day Shift

Pay: $18 to $22 per hour based on experience. Full‑time 12‑hour day shift: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., with every other weekend required.

We are a faith‑based, nonprofit, short‑term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care facility that has provided spiritually motivated care for the elderly of Columbus for over 65 years. Caring for someone isn’t just a job—it’s a compassionate calling grounded in deep‑rooted spiritual beliefs.

We are seeking a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) with experience in nursing homes to provide compassionate care for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and feeding residents.
• Help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, ambulation, and personal hygiene.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Engage residents with a positive, respectful attitude and help promote their well‑being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency (preferred).
• State‑approved STNA nursing assistant program completion and successful state test.
• Minimum of 1 year of STNA experience in a nursing home setting.
• Must complete a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education provided by the center to maintain certification.
