Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire skilled Industrial Journeyman Electricians for the Pascagoula, Mississippi area. A current TWIC Card is required for this position. This is for a 4-year project - new construction of a facility. Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen before being hired. Need to have some experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid).

***The current work schedule is Monday through Sunday, working 10-hour day shifts and off every other Sunday (70 hours for 1 week and 60 hours for 1 week). If you are looking for overtime hours, this project is for you. If you are unable, cannot, or do not want to work overtime hours, this project is not for you.***

Industrial Journeyman Electrician pay is $35/hour.

No per diem is offered.

Weekly pay by direct deposit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
• Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• Bend and install conduit.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Job Requirements:

• A current TWIC Card is required.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Industrial Journeyman Electrician is required
• Experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid).
• Need to have basic hand tools, all PPE, and reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Work overtime hours.
