Volt is immediately hiring for TIG Welder (GTAW) in Chatsworth, CA

As a TIG Welder, you will:

• Perform precision GTAW (TIG) welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, measuring, cutting, and fitting parts.
• Inspect finished welds to verify quality, strength, and compliance with specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding tools, equipment, and machinery efficiently.
• Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

This is a full time, contract to hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands-on experience in GTAW (TIG) welding.
• Ability to work with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong understanding of blueprints and welding symbols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Welding certifications such as AWS or ASME.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
