Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,091 per week

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Renton, Washington.

HIGHLIGHTS / MUST-HAVES

Minimum 3 years of L&D experience with triage experience

• EPIC experience within past 2 years (nursing school experience does not count)
• Must be able to circulate in the OR
• Travelers with license hits involving diverting meds or endangerment will NOT be accepted

UNIT OVERVIEW

• 11 L&D beds
• 2 OR suites
• 4 triage beds
• 25 postpartum beds
• Approximately 220 births per month
• Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines (goal)

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• NRP
• BLS
• ACLS

COMMON PATIENT TYPES / DIAGNOSES

• Active labor
• Postpartum
• Gestational hypertension
• GDM

DRIPS / SKILLS

• RNs titrate drips: Yes
• Common drips:
  • Pitocin
  • Magnesium Sulfate
  • Insulin

STAFFING / SUPPORT

• Charge Nurse & House Supervisor support
• 2 surgical techs available 24/7
• LPN support: 2 on days / 1 on nights
• OB, Neonatologist, and anesthesia in house 24/7

UNIT DETAILS

• EFM System: Obix
• No tele/monitor techs
• No RT equipment on unit

SCHEDULING

• 12-hour shifts (7:00–7:30)
• Weekend requirement: Yes
• No call or standby requirement for travelers
• Floating required to postpartum as needed

SCRUBS / DRESS CODE

• Navy blue
• Hospital-provided jackets and scrubs for L&D nurses
