Clinical Staff - Rehabilitation Therapy

Come join our dynamic outpatient therapy, community fitness, and sports medicine family! **SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE if eligible**This position is located in Little Rock at The Orthopedic & Spine Hospital (TOSH) and will be integral in treating a general PT population, including orthopedic and spine conditions. We value mentorships, continuing education, and a healthy caseload to provide individualized care as appropriate.The outpatient physical therapist provides an individualized evaluation, during which the client, family/caregiver, and physical therapist determine the patient's goals, customize interventions to optimize the person's ability to perform functional activities, and continuously assess progress towards goals to ensure goals are being met and/or to modify the intervention plan based on the patient's needs and skills. Functional outcomes data is collected through the collection of best practice data via patient questionnaires, performance measures, and documented treatment interventions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 OR Master's degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy;
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy
• OCS, CSCS, DN Certified

Responsibilities:

• Completes direct and indirect patient care to evaluate, create plans of care, coordinate care, educate, and treat patients. The above is driven by best practice assessment and intervention strategies.
• Completes best practice patient care documentation and appropriate review of patient PHI prior to implementing and during direct patient care plans for both insurance reimbursement and Joint Commission standards.
• Initiates multi-disciplinary collaborative efforts with referring providers to communicate patient progress and outcomes to ensure that best-practice patient care is provided.
• Other Duties As Assigned
