American Dream's immersive luxury shopping and dining experience The Avenue features Saks Fifth Avenue, Herms, Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Carpaccio, a fine-dining Italian restaurant, and much more. The retail collection is further expanded with flagship locations for Aritzia, H&M, PRIMARK, Uniqlo, Sephora and Zara; as well as the Toys'R'Us global flagship, the only standalone location in the U.S, and the world's first and only "candy department store," IT'SUGAR. Primary Responsibilities On the event day, the sole point of contact for booking parent and respective party guests. Enthusiastically and professionally greet party guest and attendees. Maintain order to avoid customer congestion in the party waiting area. Explain all the needed rules and policies for the party. Responsible for setting up, cleaning up, and maintaining party tables and surrounding areas and setting up for the next party. Regular, reliable, and consistent punctual attendance. Additional duties as assigned. Who You Are An outgoing and energetic person who will entertain in a family party environment. A representative of American Dream with professionalism and a positive work ethic. A great listener who can communicate with guests, coworkers, and leadership. A team player who will work in collaboration with other departments. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Prior experience in a service position preferred. Desired Qualifications Represent American Dream, Nickelodeon Universe, DreamWorks Water Park & Angry Birds with highest degree of professionalism Good listening skills when dealing with guests, coworkers and supervisors Ability to work as part of a team and in collaboration with other departments Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment An outgoing and energetic person that will entertain in a family party environment Prior experience as in a service position preferred, but not required All hosts MUST be local to the NY/NJ area and must have reliable transportation. Must have open availability Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and some flexibility on weekdays.
