Pay: $30–$41 an hour, depending on experience. Full-time, 40 hours a week, weekday schedule. Located in the greater Houston, TX area.
A manufacturer of chemical transport trailers is hiring a welder for a permanent seat, direct hire on the employer's payroll from day one. They want someone in place next week. This work is specialized: suspension welding on large trailers and welding pits on the interior of tanks — not general fabrication.
What you'll do:
- Weld suspension components on chemical trailers
- Weld interior pits and tank structures
- Read and work to blueprints
- Inspect your own welds for quality
What they're looking for:
- Experience welding on trailers, tanks, or heavy vehicle chassis
- Comfortable welding in confined/interior spaces
- Able to read blueprints
- Available to start next week
