Your First Year

Your journey begins with an 11-month development program focused on building both business and technical skills.

Months 1-2: Learn the Business

You'll participate in a comprehensive onboarding experience covering:

• Professional sales skills and methodology
• Communications and networking fundamentals
• VIAVI products, solutions, and markets
• Customer engagement and account management
• Business-to-business sales best practices

Months 3-11: Apply What You've Learned

Through rotational assignments, you'll gain exposure to multiple sales organizations and selling models while working with both direct customers and channel partners.

You'll have opportunities to:

• Engage with customers and partners to understand business needs
• Support business development and sales initiatives
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, and technical teams
• Learn how opportunities move through the sales cycle
• Participate in account planning and customer engagement activities
• Develop relationships across a global technology organization
• Gain experience working with leading communications and technology companies

Throughout the program, you'll receive ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development designed to prepare you for the next step in your sales career.
