Quality Control Inspector (2:45PM -11:15PM)

Quality Control Inspector for medical device manufacturer performing inspections and testing on orthopedic implants and sterile products. Role ensures compliance with FDA, ISO, and OSHA regulations while maintaining manufacturing quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on manufacturing supplies, labels, in-process and finished sterile products
• Conduct peel testing on sterile product seals and document non-conformances
• Follow production traveler and work instructions from supervisor to complete inspection tasks
• Verify calibration of inspection equipment and maintain organized quality control lab areas
• Report identified problems to Quality Control Supervisor and practice Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year quality control inspection experience preferred
• Proficiency with standard measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gages, torque wrench)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong detail orientation and ability to work independently
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and depth perception
• Microsoft Office proficiency
