Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care environment - Previous charge experience preferred License: - Valid RN license Certifications: - BLS - ACLS - NIHSS Must-Have: - Travel experience required - Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Care of ventilated patients - Experience with continuous IV sedation - Experience in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This position will require you to provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and managing complex medical needs. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies is essential. You must have experience in the management of various cardiac-related conditions. Familiarity with specific equipment and procedures common to cardiovascular care is necessary. The role includes providing patient education and support to patients and their families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Flexibility for weekend shifts is required. Floating to other critical care areas may be necessary based on patient care needs. No time off requests will be accommodated during major holidays or holiday weeks. Previous experience in travel nursing is strongly preferred. All candidates must have current relevant certifications upon application.
