Maintenance Technician

The incumbent is responsible for assessing the condition of the building systems and equipment and performing repairs which include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs/replacements, boilers and water treatment equipment as required or directed and preventative maintenance. Duties may also include accepting the lead position in renovation projects as well as installations and complicated repairs. Coverage of security shifts, including weekends, when assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years technical certificate or equivalent in technical trade preferred.
• Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license.
• 4 or more years in all types of general, mechanical, electrical and plumbing maintenance or construction background.
• Proficient in one or all of the following: HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, light commercial equipment repair.
• Trades license preferred but not required
