The Order Selector will primarily be responsible for picking and fulfilling orders. This is an on-site hourly position and will require a daily presence at our RectorSeal Earth City, MO facility, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

The Order Selector will primarily be responsible for picking and fulfilling orders. This is an on-site hourly position and will require a daily presence at our RectorSeal Earth City, MO facility, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily operations
• Pick customer orders accurately according to our Picking Procedure
• Wrap pallets.
• Load trailer & containers.
• Inspect product for damages, report as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Equipment maintenance and upkeep
• Routine cleaning duties
• Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized
• Listen and follow instructions from supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years' recent experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders
• 3+ years' recent experience operating Cherry Picker/Order Selector
• Familiarity of use of shipping scanners
• Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English.
• Basic Arithmetic skills involving addition, subtraction, multiplication

Preferred Requirements:

• 3+ years' recent experience in operating Walkie Rider
• 3+ years' recent experience in operating Reach Truck
• Turret reach truck experience
• Inventory systems proficiency: DSI & JDE experience a plus.
• Spanish a plus

Skills/Competencies:

• Proven work experience in warehouse setting
• Able to work independently and safely

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
