Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Weekends | Possible Extension

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–7
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition throughout the shift
• Adhere to unit attendance expectations — no more than 2–3 call-offs per contract will be tolerated

Required Qualifications

• Active West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility; candidates residing 75–100 miles away may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR modules
• Experience working in a high-acuity Medical Surgical environment
