Overview A warm, professional family on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced, energetic, and nurturing Live-In Nanny/Housekeeper to join their household. The family has two daughters, a toddler age 2.5 and an infant age 3 months. There is an existing live-out nanny on staff who primarily focuses on the younger child, and the new hire will work collaboratively alongside her. The family employs a weekly deep cleaning service, so this role focuses on maintaining day-to-day cleanliness, organization, and the smooth running of the household rather than deep cleaning. This is a long‑term role with a family that deeply values the people who work in their home and is committed to finding their forever person. This is a nationwide search. Schedule: This is a split‑shift role structured around the family’s daily routine. Morning Shift: 6:30am to 9:30am – Prepare breakfast for the family, assist with getting the toddler ready for school, school drop‑off (10‑minute walk; school begins at 8:35am), and light housekeeping upon return, including making beds and general tidying. Afternoon/Evening Shift: 2:00–3:00pm through 7:30–8:00pm – School pickup (currently 11:30am dismissal; transitioning to approximately 3:00pm–3:30pm starting in September), prepare and serve afternoon snack or meal for the children, engage and be present with the toddler during after‑school hours, overlap with existing nanny staff, cook dinner as needed, perform light housekeeping, support bedtime routine as needed, and step into a background support role when parents arrive home between 5:30pm and 7:00pm. The family is hoping to find a candidate who is interested in building a long‑term relationship with their household and becoming a consistent, trusted presence in the home as the children grow. The family will be relocating to the West Village mid‑to‑late next year, and the successful candidate should be open to that transition.
