Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored for trauma recovery, focusing on resilience and overall mental wellness.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to patients through telehealth platforms.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and cultivate a healing narrative.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients receive timely support.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards, ensuring proper electronic health record (EHR) management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults and adolescents who have experienced various forms of trauma. Our patients may present with a wide range of symptoms associated with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. Understanding their unique experiences and providing tailored interventions is essential for promoting healing and resilience in each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and therapies.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations, serving as a calm presence for patients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications relevant to telehealth.

• Strong collaborative skills to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with advanced training in specific trauma therapies or significant experience in a telehealth setting will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
