Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 12hr Nights (7pm - 7:30am) for 3 days a week.

The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with varying degrees of illness. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Document patient care activities and updates accurately.
• Support patients in daily living activities and provide emotional support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Previous experience in a Progressive Care Unit or similar setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
