We are looking for motivated, confident  In-Home Design Consultants to join our sales team.

About the Role

As an In-Home Design Consultant, you will meet with homeowners in their homes through  pre-set, pre-confirmed appointments . These are homeowners who have already requested to meet with us —  no cold calling, door knocking, or lead generation required.

You will learn our products, conduct interactive presentations, design solutions based on each homeowner's needs, provide project pricing and financing options, and guide customers through the purchasing process.

This position is ideal for someone who is confident communicating with homeowners, motivated by uncapped earning potential, and comfortable with a  same-day, one-call-close sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct professional, interactive in-home sales presentations
• Meet with pre-set and pre-confirmed homeowner appointments
• Assess homeowner needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Design and price remodeling projects based on customer needs
• Present financing options and available solutions
• Close projects during the initial appointment
• Maintain a professional and consultative relationship with homeowners
• Attend weekly training and ongoing sales development programs
• Follow company sales, pricing, and presentation processes
• Accurately complete contracts and required sales documentation

Compensation

This is a 100% commission, uncapped 1099 independent contractor position.

• Expected take-home: $130,000–$250,000 per year
• Top performers can earn significantly more
• Commission is paid on every project sold
• Additional daily, monthly, and yearly production bonuses are available
• Weekly commission payouts

There is no income cap — your earning potential is directly tied to your production.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Confidence speaking with homeowners and presenting in person
• Strong self-motivation and determination
• A professional demeanor and positive attitude
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• The ability to work independently and manage a schedule
• Comfort with a same-day close sales process
• Comfort working in a fully commission-based environment
• A reliable vehicle
• A valid driver's license
• Proof of current automobile insurance
• A tablet with 5G connectivity, or the ability to obtain one before starting

Prior in-home sales or one-call-close experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

Candidates must be available for:

• Daytime and evening appointments
• Rotating weekends
• A full-time sales schedule based on homeowner appointments

Important Information

This is an  independent contractor (1099) position. Direct Remodels does not provide company-sponsored employee benefits, including health insurance, for this role.
