Job Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Schedule

12-hour Days, 0645-1915. Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend. Holiday Requirements: Yes unless requested in time off request.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week. Contract Length: 13 weeks.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Telemetry RN experience.
• MO or Compact RN license; BLS, ACLS certification required.
• Experience Preferred: BSN.
• EMR: Experience with Altera Sunrise is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and reactions to treatments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families on conditions, procedures, and care plans.
• Document nursing care and patient progress accurately and timely.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation schedule includes a 2-day orientation followed by clinical orientation. Non-billable orientation hours: 8 hours. Parking details will be provided.
