We empower our staff to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a strong commitment to our patients, colleagues, physicians, and community partners.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team at our Residential Treatment Center in Hollywood, FL.Our residential level of care provides 24/7 structured, live-in treatment for adults experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. Patients receive intensive clinical support in a safe, therapeutic environment designed to promote stability, recovery, and long-term success.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct care, supervision, and support to patients in a residential settingMonitor and document patient behaviors and progressAssist in the implementation of individualized treatment plansUtilize de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention when necessaryBuild positive, therapeutic relationships with patients and team membersMaintain a safe and structured environment for all patientsAct as a liaison between patients and the clinical teamParticipate actively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment teamModel appropriate professional behavior and maintain healthy boundariesSupport a positive peer culture through reinforcement and engagementQualificationsExperience working with the mental health and/or substance use population requiredMust have a valid and clear driver's licenseMust be able to pass a Level II Background ScreeningStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-stress situationsSchedule Requirements1 2-hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMWeekend availability is requiredAt CBH, you will be part of a mission-driven organization where your contributions truly matter.
