The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in technologies such as Amazon RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) , Amazon Redshift , Redis , and Progress OpenEdge , and thrives in hybrid cloud environments . Key Responsibilities: Provision, configure, and manage databases across Amazon RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) , Amazon Redshift , Redis , and Progress OpenEdge . Monitor system performance and proactively optimize queries , indexes , and configurations to ensure high availability and responsiveness. Design and implement scalable database architectures that support mission-critical applications and services. Collaborate closely with development, operations, and analytics teams to support data workflows, integrations, and automation. Ensure database security, backup integrity, and disaster recovery readiness across all environments. Contribute to infrastructure planning, capacity forecasting, and performance benchmarking. Qualifications: AWS certifications such as Database – Specialty , Solutions Architect , or equivalent cloud credentials. Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform , Cloud Formation ). Familiarity with containerized deployment environments including Docker and Kubernetes . Strong knowledge of data governance practices , security standards , and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
