Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district is required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required; BSN highly desired Must-Have: Cardiac Tele experience required; 2 years Cerner experience required; Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a cardiac-focused stepdown unit. The unit accommodates 48 beds. It includes 4 pulmonary care beds and 10 cardiac surgery beds (traveler not required to take). The position entails working 3 twelve-hour shifts with rotations between day and night. Frequent IV drips include Heparin, Milrinone, Lasix, and Bumex. Common diagnoses include CHF, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, and vascular surgery. Candidates must live 50 miles away from the facility. Skills-based hiring is enabled.
