Ultrasound Tech Position - Night Shift
Location: Denver, CO
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift will be 6 PM - 6:30 AM, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Job Description: The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality ultrasound services, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The tech will operate ultrasound equipment and perform various ultrasound procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations including abdomen, OB first tri, GYN, UEV, and others.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of ultrasound equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures and aftercare.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care setting.
- Active CO Licensure.
- BLS certification required.
- ARRT (VS) or RVT preferred.
