Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Serving a diverse population in a dedicated day school, you will collaborate with educators and allied professionals to ensure every child’s communication needs are met. This contract position runs full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:45 AM to 2:30 PM, and extends from ASAP through June 2027, providing continuity and the chance to make a lasting impact over an extended term.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a special education setting
• Familiarity with implementing speech-language interventions and tracking student progress
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Compassion, adaptability, and a positive commitment to student success
• Ability to work consistently throughout the full school year, in a contract capacity

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech-language therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Provide direct support and instruction to students with speech and language needs
• Assist in conducting screenings and assessments as directed
• Maintain thorough records of sessions, student progress, and data collection
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that fosters growth and achievement
• Attend team meetings and participate in professional development as required
