Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and inventory.

Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and report discrepancies.

Maintain accurate inventory through routine cycle counts and inventory audits.

Organize inventory locations and ensure all bins, racks, and shelves are properly labeled.

Pull and stage materials for production as requested.

Assist with loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate material handling equipment.

Transport materials throughout the facility to support production needs.

Maintain inventory transactions and records using the company's inventory management system.

Investigate and report inventory discrepancies while helping identify root causes.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas following 5S standards.

Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, and Materials teams to ensure inventory availability.

Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Supervisor.

Required:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software.

Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.

Willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve processes.

Preferred:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts preferred or ability to become certified.

Experience using inventory management or ERP systems preferred.

Basic math skills required.

Experience using handheld scanners or barcode systems is a plus.

Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
