Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care in Silver City, New Mexico. This travel - temporary assignment begins on 08/01/2026 for 6 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of an RN.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per orders, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall condition; report changes promptly to the supervising nurse.
- Document care provided in the charting system according to facility policy and privacy guidelines.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility, focusing on safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the health care team to coordinate care plans and respond to changes in resident status.
- Uphold infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe care environment for residents and staff.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (in good standing) or eligibility to practice in NM.
- Graduation from an approved Practical Nurse program.
- Local candidates only.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating schedule.
- Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and resident-centered care skills.
