Braiding and Extrusion Center of Excellence Strategy Leader

Medtronic seeks a strategy leader to oversee braiding and extrusion manufacturing capabilities across the enterprise. This role drives technology development, establishes standards, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to advance production capabilities and support product portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Braiding and Extrusion Center of Excellence, including strategy, capability development, and roadmap planning
- Define manufacturing strategies and enterprise standards for braiding and extrusion equipment, tooling, and processes
- Partner with Operating Units, R&D, and manufacturing sites to align technology investments with business objectives
- Assess emerging technologies and drive feasibility studies, proof-of-concept work, and industrialization efforts
- Provide technical leadership on process optimization, yield improvement, and capability expansion across manufacturing sites
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years manufacturing/engineering experience, or advanced degree with 8+ years
- Hands-on experience with braiding and/or extrusion technologies in manufacturing
- Track record developing and deploying manufacturing processes or production technologies
- Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, manufacturing, and quality
