Role Description The Assistant Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role located in Pickerington, OH. This position supports the escrow process by preparing closing files, reviewing documents, and ensuring all required paperwork is complete and accurate. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents, balancing with lenders for final settlement statement and reviewing closing documents, scheduling closings, and assisting with funding authorizations . The Assistant Escrow Officer works closely with the Escrow Officer and team members to ensure transactions are processed efficiently and that clients receive professional, timely service. Qualifications Experience supporting real estate Closings and managing related documentation. Notary commission or eligibility to obtain a Notary commission within a defined timeframe. Knowledge of Escrow procedures, settlement statements, and compliance requirements. Background in Residential Real Estate, title, lending, or a related field. Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication and client follow-up. High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in document handling. Proficiency with standard office software and ability to learn title/escrow systems. Ability to work on-site, manage multiple files simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
