Location: USA - Boston, McClellan Hwy Division: Air & Sea Job Posting Title: Freight Forwarder, Ocean Export Time Type: Full Time Team Lead, Ocean Export The Ocean Export Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the export of goods via ocean transport. This position manages a team of export professionals and ensures that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner. Duties and Responsibilities Manage and lead a team of export professionalsDevelop and implement export processes and proceduresEnsure that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective mannerCoordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goodsMaintain relationships with customers and partnersAnalyze market trends and identify areas for process improvementEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and lawsManage and oversee documentation for export shipmentsDevelop and implement training programs for the export team Educational background / Work experience A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferredAt least 5 years of experience in ocean export operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Familiarity with export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and industry best practices. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and communication skills.Proficient in using computer software programs related to logistics and supply chain management.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Supervisory Responsibilities (if any) Responsible for managing a team of ocean export coordinators. Preferred Qualifications Experience with leading ocean cargo logistics software and systemsFamiliarity with ocean freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controlsKnowledge of shipping routes and schedules Language skills Fluency in English is requiredKnowledge of additional languages is a plus Computer Literacy Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with logistics software and systems is required At Will Employment DSV Air & Sea Inc. employees are hired for an undefined period of time as “at will” employees.
