Sea Ice Model Evaluation & Forecasting Scientist

Lynker seeks a Sea Ice Model Evaluation and Applications Scientist to support the Ocean and Tsunami Center (OTC) and the U.S. National Ice Center (USNIC). The role focuses on evaluating sea ice guidance from systems such as GFS, GEFS, SFS, RTOFS, and Navy forecasts to improve operational day-8 to day-14 forecasts and exploratory lead times. The candidate will work with forecasters, model developers, and external partners to assess performance, improve initialization and evaluation, and prototype #J-18808-Ljbffr Lynker
