Caregiver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Litchfield County Home Assistance in Pine Plains New York. As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Our goal is to make a positive impact on our clients' daily lives, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to exceptional care and service.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
Escort clients to appointments and errands
Engage in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to management
Requirements:
1 year of experience in caregiving or a related field
Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Willingness to work shifts as short as 3 hours
